See The Hague from a completely different side: from the water! This is a unique cruise on the canals of The Hague dating from the 14th century. While sailing you can enjoy stories about The Hague: Hofstad, Government Center, Royal City and City of Peace & Justice. It is an undiscovered gem of The Hague that you should definitely see!
A guide is always present on board De Ooievaart. These are volunteers who share their stories with passion. They will certainly surprise you with their enthusiastic stories about The Hague’s sights.
The cruise starts at Bierkade 18b, The Hague. We request that you be present 15 minutes before departure.
Due to maintenance on one of the bridges we pass, we offer a modified route through the city center.
This cruise stays 1.5 hours, with just as much fun!
Our boats
We have various open tour boats and a covered pull barge.
* The open canal boats are used on the canals of The Hague (Inner City Route).
* The covered boat makes cruises outside the city centre of The Hague (Barge route).
The covered boat cannot use the inner-city route due to the low bridges.
We don’t just offer cruises!
Here you will find a selection of those products.
Stay one or more days and nights in our marina near the city center of The Hague.
Meeting on a boat from 1905. Also very suitable for workshops and team outings.
Rent a bicycle and take it on a voyage of discovery through The Hague and its surroundings.
Climb the church tower, beacon and landmark of The Hague and enjoy the view.
