Cruises
The Hague, a real canal city? That is hard to imagine now, in the 21st century. Yet the canals in The Hague are more than 400 years old. Today it is still largely intact. It is an undiscovered gem of The Hague that you should definitely see!
A guide is always present on board De Ooievaart. These are volunteers who share their stories with passion. They will certainly surprise you with their enthusiastic stories about The Hague’s sights. Funny anecdotes provide a light touch.
Attention
This year there will be a lot of work on and around the sailing route. This can result in an adjusted sailing route or a short walk to another boat that is waiting for you on the other side of a possible blockade.
The cruise starts at the Port Office at Bierkade 18b, The Hague. We request that you be present 15 minutes before departure.
Our boats
We have various open tour boats and a covered pull barge.
* The open canal boats are used on the canals of The Hague (Inner City Route).
* The covered boat makes cruises in the area outside the canals of The Hague (Barge Route).
The covered boat cannot make cruises on the inner city route due to the low bridges.
